For a few months now Wildwood Function has been serving Namasthé Breakfast and Earl Grey teas.They have a crew of French Canadians working there and when Luce contacted us aout the teas we were very happy to serve their customers(including us) the best for breakfast and lunch.I love their veggie pasta specials, humungous muffins and great selection.They have a lots of selection and they are also soo very kind!Wildwood offers alot of local fare and has big ized portion and good prices!Perfect for all the hungry functionites.Oh and their cookies well they are so big they could be called plates are always a fine treat!

Drinking tea is a ritual for me. I love taking the time to steep tea leaves in hot water and watch it turn to a particular hue - both a luxury and necessity in my day. I recently discovered the tasty and healthful Namasthé teas at a little health food store in Tofino.
Blended by Whistler based Isabelle Ranger, a master herbalist who custom blended herbal medicinal teas for years, the delicious teas combine whole leaf organic teas with ancient herbal wisdom.

Whistler – On a European holiday it quickly becomes a daily routine to pick up your fresh bread from the bakery, your cheese and wine from the corner grocer and turn afternoon snack time into a relaxing slice of heaven.
While Whistler isn’t quite a European ski village, people in the resort can do just that at the Indoor Artisan Market every second Thursday afternoon at the Westin Resort and Spa. Co-producer Astrid Cameron-Kent said it’s common to see hotel guests drop by the market on their way back from the slopes, purchase some fresh-baked bread from the Pure Bread stand, some B.C.-made cheese and head to their rooms for the perfect après snack.
And while they’re at it, market customers can find more delicious treats such as hand-made samosas and other Indian foods, bison sausage, Whistler Pocket Chocolate, and Namasthé tea to wash it all down. Plus, the market offers locally made jewellery, hats and other accessories, as well as unique gifts such as fine art and hand painted garden tools, Cameron-Kent said.
Many visitors to Whistler want to get connected with the region, and the market gives them a chance to shop in a non-commercial environment, chat with local artisans and producers and find locally made treasures, she said.
“The idea of it was for the tourists to kind of get exposed to some of the local artisans,” Cameron-Kent said. “The guests love it.”
While the market offers a nice perk to Westin guests, it’s open to all Whistler visitors and residents alike. The next market takes place today (Thursday, March 26) from 3 to 7 p.m. and runs every two weeks until April 23.
The idea to run a regular artisan market in the hotel came from the success of the annual Slow Food Artisan Market, which takes place each November during Cornucopia, Whistler’s festival of wine and food. Monica Hayes, spokesperson for the Westin, said local vendors were also keen to participate in a regular market. The Indoor Artisan Market has been running every other week since January.
“We average about a dozen vendors and… as a unique après event it has been quite successful,” Hayes said. “(It’s) something we will entertain doing again.”
Cameron-Kent, director of Slow Food Sea to Sky, said the bi-monthly market is a smaller scale than the Slow Food market each November, but even the retail shops along the concourse where the market is held are getting into the spirit and offering items for sale along the mall.
The market is building momentum and offers another outlet for people to find local products, exposing regional artisans to an international audience, she said. The Thursday après market is also a complement to the Sunday Winter Farmers Markets taking place at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, Cameron-Kent said.
“I think it’s great that both are happening,” she said.

Work for me is always a pleasure from the most mundane duties, creative aspects and of course the pleasure of serving tea samples to the community.I have always loved creating change in my own life knowing that ultimately it effects change all around me.I thank all of you for supporting Namasthé and what it stands for as well as the experience it brings.It is so important to support local mission based entrepreneurs and the Teaconomy.I will share with you a dream i have had since the days of Mt. Currie to one day grow all our own herbals here in the valley,process them here,support wildcrafters,package them here and savor them everywhere!!!We can do it and each cup makes a huge difference towards this sustainable goal.

We are also in the R&D process with some biodegradable printable films for our next batch of enveloppes.We hope the next samples work good in the machine.This coming year we will also add a couple new teas to the line.The new teas will be custom proprietary blends and will have a little herbal twist in honor of my trade.Let me know what you hope will be our next teas.One will definetly be a Rooibos and the other is a surprise.We also have been offering wonderful teas at the Winter Market at Cultural Center so stop by for a sample of a loose leaf bag of your choice.

Our logo represents the elements of the tea leaves,tcup,snowpeak,blue sky and the anjali mudra shape of the hands as the mountain peak.It was designed by a wonderful intuitive woman Tracey Gramm from Blue Halo Crative in Vancouver.
The simple design follows our mission to keep things simple, beautiful and distinctively soothing. Namasthé means the Divine in me bows to the Divine in you meaning that we are ONE. We then personally chant Ancient Sanskrit Mantras for Wellbeing daily and before any order leaves the warehouse in Whistler. Chanting mantras is a meditative technique to transfer positive energy from healing sounds to the teas as a medium for bringing grace & wellbeing in each cup of tea. The mantras bless the water, the tea, the individual and the energy keeps flowing outward in Seva(Selfless Service).
